Concealed Carry And Home Defense Fundamentals

     The decision to purchase a firearm for home defense, or a decision to apply for a permit and ultimately carry a handgun for personal protection, is a serious decision, but, it’s no more serious than other decisions you’ve most likely made for the protection of yourself and your family, such as a decision to maintain smoke alarms and a fire extinguisher in your home, or a decision to learn CPR. Each of those decisions is nothing more than the recognition that your city’s police, fire and EMS services are not omnipresent, and will not suddenly materialize when you and your family are confronted by a fire, a heart attack, or a violent crime.
